Ansav (An's Antivirus) Review: Powerful Local Antivirus but Light

For some fans of portable applications may already know about Ansav.
If there anyone who haven't known yet,
it is Ansav Antivirus made in Indonesia that can run portable. That is the advantages.
In addition, as Indonesian people, I feel proud of Ansav because not only foreigners who can make the antivirus, but Indonesian can  make it too.

I personally know about Ansav because of my friends. They are using it.
At first I was not so sure with Ansav itself, because I think Ansav is only local Antivirus made, and it's only portable  antivirus.
But after I try to use it, it was incredible.
Otherwise, I change my mind and think that the portability of ansav become it's excess.

Ansav development stopped for a while. I always look at their website to download the newest version update and see if there's a new plugin, but at that time, it says that the website is still under development.
I am a little disappointed because so far i'm relying on Ansav antivirus.
But my disappointment did not last long. After several months I finally tried to look at Ansav website again.
Surprisingly, Ansav latest version is there! And even more surprising Ansav be updated.

The first feature after the renewal  is Ansav display. It's simpler but attractive. Even more Ansav become lighter but still powerful. The proof is when the first memory scanning, Ansav run so much faster than previous version.

Ansav has 9 official skin that can be downloaded, namely: black edition, blue edition, blue glasses, chocolate cream, green stripes, grin mold, orange range, silpher, and the tree.

Second, now Ansav provide live updates. So you don't need to download the new version again to update the old one like before. More, Ansav is protable, so we can run the live updates just from the flash / your other removable media. Practically no!

The third, now Ansav have quarantine facility, formerly there's no quarantine. The principle is similar to other antivirus quarantine functions. That is to imprison a suspected virus / worm to wait for the next session, so the status of the suspect files. And the judge is you. Whether you decide to sentenced to death, rehabilitation, release it, or even remain imprisoned him and wait for further updates Ansav to determine whether the suspect had the file (virus) or not.

The fourth, now Ansav supporting more plugins. Actually the plugin itself is an excess of Ansav. Only few antivirus that support plugin. Now official Ansav has 4 plugin. Fifth, multi-language. New Ansav you download will have 3 languages, namely: English, Indonesian, and Javanese. So you can change the language according to your wishes, which is more comfortable.

That was my review of the Ansav. May be useful for you who are looking for a anti-virus that qualified to kill local virus. In conclusion, there is nothing wrong to try to use Ansav.
