Once we know Friendster, Facebook, Myspace and other social networking sites, Twitter appear in different formats.


The concept of Twitter is to spread information in a brief message, short, and real time in the sentence is less than 140 characters to all the readers around the world. Just like updating status in facebook.


Twitter users can spread the message information in several ways, can through their own Twitter site, or through SMS (short message service).


Because the content is short message, Twitter is in the category Micro-blogging,an online media that allows its users to write short information message. The message is usually less than 200 characters.


The idea of making Twitter is a simple question,
 "What do my friends do now?"
So Twitter try to bridge these questions to the user by returning to ask "What are you doing?"
The answer will be distributed by Twitter through the facility interface (dashboard) users.
Twitter also provides an interface application that appears on the website / blog users.


if the SMS-based messaging service is only capable of delivering information to your known users, maybe your friends,
but Twitter can be used to spread information to all people that you know or not.
Delivery of messages in Twitter generally without hoping to get a reply / response from readers. 

Example for social affairs,
Twitter can provide instant information about our existence or what we will do.
Example,
"I want eat grilled fish for dinner, if anyone want to come, go to Seafood Restaurant in ABCDEF Street ".
Another person who became our Twitter followers will know the news and the response will be created.
